We offer specialized services for the treatment of addiction and trauma. Our program is unique to the industry in that we serve a maximum of thirty clients with more than ten staff members. Some of our services include:

  • Family Therapy
  • Hypnosis
  • Trauma Therapy

Below, We List Our Substance Abuse And Childhood Trauma Treatment Programs:

Residential treatment (Phase 1) begins after the client is discharged from a detoxification facility. The structured program includes over 30 hours of client services per week, including weekends with the accountability program. The intent of the first 30 days of the residential program is to uncover and begin to understand the client’s addictive behavior patterns, triggers, and daily inventory of thoughts, actions, and behaviors that have in the past been self-defeating. Our assessment and evaluation system teaches clients to identify these patterns of behavior and to assess more appropriate and positive coping skills. Included in Phase 1 of the program is a self assessment process that teaches clients alternative techniques to implement a lifelong pattern of positive coping behavior and success. Substance abuse trauma therapy is also incorporated into Phase 1 (please see trauma program tab for additional information on trauma and how it related to substance abuse). A list of services included in Phase 1 are:

  • Dual Diagnosis
  • Trauma Program
  • Family Therapy
  • Assessment and Evaluation
  • Spiritual Program

The experience of leading a substance abuse lifestyle develops patterns of behavior which challenge sound and ethical morals and values which leads to internal conflict. This conflict manifests into a strong emotional response where addiction becomes the primary coping method to deal with the internal conflict. Lifescape Solutions’ Spiritual Program understands the need for the recovering addict to receive an emotional experience larger than that of drugs and alcohol. Our program incorporates a multifaceted spiritual program including:

  • Meditation

  • Hypnosis
  • Spirituality
  • Energy Healing
  • Vibro-Acoustical Neuro-feedback

Why is the relapse rate so high after residential treatment? The answer is simple: No Aftercare! The most important lesson to learn from residential treatment is that it is not a cure all. Lifescape Solutions is a gradual step down program that reintegrates our clients into society with the coping skills necessary to sustain abstinence. By the time clients have completed our aftercare program they are well on their way to a life of great success and achievement. We assist our clients with vocational and educational assessments and have partnered with college based programs to help clients gain admission into school. In addition, our experienced and certified job and recovery coaches are trained to assist clients with securing employment within the career they are most passionate about. Phase II of our program consists of 60 days of 20 or more hours of group, individual, and recreational therapies, all with the purpose of solidifying and building on the structure, coping skills, and internal motivation achieved in the Phase I program. Clients continue to receive instruction on changing behavior patterns, recognizing relapse triggers, and assessing and evaluating daily thoughts, actions, and behaviors to permanently encourage positive change, growth, and contribution. Continued services in Phase II programming include:

  • Individual Therapy
  • Specialized Group Therapies
  • Vocational/Educational Assessments with Certified Rehabilitation Counselors
  • Resume Building and Job Coaching/Mock Interview Seminars
  • Assistance with College Applications
  • Trauma Therapy
  • Hypnosis
  • Recreational Therapy
  • Spiritual Program
  • 12-Step Meetings

Certified Job and Recovery Coaches assist clients during this phase of treatment to identify their passions and career path, take the steps needed to achieve these goals, and provide the encouragement to continue thriving. Of course, this is also the time where patterns of behavior tend to re-emerge, so all clients continue with their individual therapist for support and determination with making behavioral changes, while group sessions continue to practice the clients internal motivation through the continued process of assessment and evaluation. As the clients begin to gain more freedom through the reintegration process, the spiritual growth continues with the spiritual program. Clients also continue with recreational therapies by attending weekend outings within the accountability program, while at the same time, building on positive relationships developed during Phase I. The purpose of Phase II treatment is to solidify the relationship building process, assess behavior patterns, and solidify coping skills, all while enhancing themselves spiritually. Lifescape Solutions’ Phase III program consists of 90 days, made up of 15 hours a week or more of individual, group, and recreational therapies to assist clients with maintaining abstinence during their transition into independence. Lifescape Solutions understands the importance of continued support during periods of transition, when our clients begin their career/educational path, and as they come back into society. Clients receiving services under Phase III treatment continue to address problem behaviors and problem areas that arise during independence. Some of our Phase III services include:

  • Individual Therapy
  • Specialized Group Therapies
  • Recreational Therapies
  • Case Management
  • 12-Step Meeting integration
  • Help with working with the clients 12 step sponsor

We understand the importance of building a recovery fellowship and for every client to feel they are a part of a larger community. Lifescape Solutions Phase II and III programs continue to assist clients with building healthy and lifelong relationships as a part of a community. Although we encourage all clients to participate in our residential program, Lifescape Solutions offers Phase II and III treatment to any individual seeking assistance with maintaining sobriety. Client’s who have graduated from a separate residential treatment are welcome to join Phase II and III programming. Most often the nightmare of addiction creates a conflict with a person’s morals and values. Such conflicts have the potential to develop into a traumatic experience. Lifescape Solution’s trauma program is geared towards settling and resolving conflicted perceptions brought on by long term substance dependence and traumatic events. We utilize Self-Parenting and Gestalt therapy along with a unique blend of Hypnosis, EMDR and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, combined with the spiritual component of the twelve step program to alleviate and resolve these traumatic symptoms. Redefine your concept of trauma. A traumatic experience doesn’t only involve sexual, emotional or physical abuse. Trauma is also any lived experience that causes a strong emotional response as a result of conflicting moral and ethical values. Substance abuse behavior brings the addicted person into a lifestyle where immoral and unethical behaviors run rampant. The addict sees, hears, and experiences events and circumstances that conflict with a higher moral character, which develops into an internalized traumatic skew of self worth, confidence and value, which manifests in debilitating and self-defeating behavior patterns. The addict copes with the emotional conflict by continuing to use, hence the cycle of addiction. The emotional response triggers a disempowering thought process leading to an inability to cope effectively which cycles back to the emotional response– usually fear or anxiety. Our trauma program incorporates techniques which counter every aspect of this cycle. Through teaching empowerment, positive coping, positive energy, and clearing the traumatic event, the individual is able to build self worth, obtain a sense of balance, and ultimately live productive and prosperous lifestyles.

Our structured program meets three days a week, Monday and Friday from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am-12:00pm.

Through the program teens learn an assessment and evaluation system they can use for a lifetime of success. Our motivational and disciplinary meetings involve strategies and assessments for teens to enhance their perception and decision making skills. In short, our clients learn to make better choices necessary to enhance their lifetime goals.
